UNIVERSITY APPLICATION ADVISING

The process of applying to universities can be overwhelming. We get it. We've had the pleasure of working with students who have earned admission to top programs in Canada and the United States, such as the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, Advanced Entry at the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western, Harvard, University of Chicago, Princeton, New York University, Georgetown, Northwestern, University of Michigan.

But the reality is that one size does not fit all. Every student is unique and their applications need to be handled as such. Our suite of services to support students includes the follows:

1. Candidate assessment

This is a holistic assessment of the student's academic, athletic (if applicable), extra-curricular profile based on the student's target schools. We examine academic average, course rigour, level of athletic competition, level and variety of extra-curricular participation.

2. Recommendations

In response to the assessment, we can make a list of detailed and specific recommendations related to course enrolment, targeted grade levels, standardized test prep, and extra-curricular activities as well as the appropriate timelines.

3. Support

We provide expertise in a variety of areas to ensure we maximize the probability of meeting the goals of our students: subject specific tutoring to increase grade levels, standardized test preparation to achieve target scores, discovery of extra curricular opportunities to bolster the student's application profile, and essay coaching to ensure the student is seen as a unique candidate.

We can build a customized plan to incorporate some or all of the above to ensure the student is accentuating the right elements of their application and maximizing their chances of admission.

We understand how important this process is, so we encourage parents and students to reach out to set up a an initial consultation. This first appointment gives everyone an opportunity to ensure that we can create a meaningful alignment for our goals and approach.
