How We Can Help
You've taken the first step towards getting some really great help with your academic journey! But Cassels Tutoring is so much more than just subject tutoring (though we certainly do a ton of that!) - it's a full-service boutique experience tailored to our students' specific needs.
The simple fact of the matter is that school isn't easy. It's not meant to be. It represents an awesome opportunity for students to see how much they can handle at once. But before they reach the goldilocks moment that has them taking on that amount of responsibility that they can handle but still challenges them, there are often a few hiccups along the way. And hey, a ton of learning happens there - but we're here to help students navigate those hiccups with a variety of different services that'll empower them to keep working towards achieving their goals!

Subject Tutoring
Delivering student-specific 1:1 learning plans to improve performance in a specific course. Whether that means pre-teaching course material, reviewing key concepts post lesson, a hybrid approach, we personalize the approach to your learning.
From weekly sessions to exam prep tutorials, this is for students looking to improving their standing in one or more of their classes.
Credit Courses
Sometimes you have to take a course outside of your home school. You can use it to bump up your average for university applications, fulfill a requirement for graduation, take a course that's not offered at your home school, or all of the above!
Cassels offers credit courses at the high school level, as it is a Ministry-accredited private school, as well as any teaching support needed.
Organizational Coaching
This involves working on the skills that support a student's learning get built up. Whether that's tracking assignments, how to study for tests, how to respond to dissatisfactory test results, we give students the ancillary skills to apply their learning.
This can range from physical organization of notes and handouts to building structured approaches for homework, test prep, and assignments.
SAT/ACT Tutoring
For those students looking to study at a US college, many (not all) require the SAT/ACT as a part of the admissions process.
We've been prepping our kids for both of these tests for over a decade - this isn't just about taking up practice questions, this is building a tailored approach to teaching students the techniques and tricks for performing their best on the exam
Admissions Consulting
Looking to apply to university? Or a new high school? Or even a middle school? We got your back.
We advise on school selection, recommend extra-curriculars, assess academic credentials, and provide coaching throughout the application process. Whether you're just starting out or putting the final touches on your application essays, we have the people that can help!
