Adam de Pencier
A former Director of University Relations and Counselling at Branksome Hall and other agencies, Adam's students have acceptances at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cornell, Cal Berkeley, UCLA, University of Chicago, UMichigan, Wisconsin-Madison, among others, and Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Trinity College, Dublin. His students have been accepted to all major Canadian universities. Adam has degrees from Queen's, University of Edinburgh, University of Chicago and Columbia. He was a also a member of the Principals’ Centre at Harvard.
His professional career spans teaching, counselling, and Head of School appointments in Canada and the United States, including Upper Canada College, Branksome Hall, Trinity College School, Trafalgar Castle, Blyth Academy, the Oxford School, and schools in Wisconsin and South Carolina.

Johnny Cassels
Johnny's 15 years of experience started with advising students on constructing compelling narratives for their application essays. This thrusted him into admissions advisory, as the process of constructing a truly compelling essay involves understanding the student, the university, and the way their experiences reconcile with the ethos and values of the school.

Johnny's worked with students who've attended a variety of top tier institutions, including Queen's, UBC, McGill, Western, McMaster, UCLA, Harvard, UC Berkeley, Princeton, Stanford, Northwestern, University of Miami, University of Chicago.

Johnny's approach is to provide clients with concrete action plans that yield tangible increases in admissions possibilities across a variety of different facets.

How Does It Work?

Initial Consultation
This is where we gain insight on all of the specific information we need to do our job. Report cards, extra curricular activities, hobbies, interests, target schools, career aspirations, target geography - it all begins here.
Our goals is to understand how the student's current academic attributes and desires align with their goals as well as discover opportunities that may be in alignment.

Proposal
This is where we reconcile all of the information you provide with a tangible action plan where we genuinely add value. This can range from program recommendation, extra curricular facilitation, essay coaching, standardized test prep, among others.
The most important part of our proposals is that they are tangibly actionable, so families can work towards achieving that offer of admission.

Delivery
With a mutually agreed upon proposal, we start moving forward towards the achievement of key milestones. Now these milestones are predicted entirely on the student and their unique goals. This can be ensuring the conditions and prerequisites for specific courses trajectories are met, advising and facilitating on extra-curricular activities, subject specific tutoring, standardized test preparation.
