What is one thing you want students to know about you? 

Since I was a child, I always wanted to become a teacher. Now, I am an elementary teacher, and work for the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). This year, I am teaching Kindergarten, and love my career. I went from pretend teacher, to future teacher, to certified teacher.

What's your educational background?

I attended Rick Hansen Secondary School and graduated in 2012. I am part of the first cohort that graduated from the joint program between Ryerson and York University’s Concurrent Education program. I earned my bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Studies, as well as my Bachelors of Education in the Primary/Junior Education in 2017. After graduating, I attended various Additional Qualifications courses for teaching, including Special Education, Teaching English Language Learners, and my teachables for English and Mathematics for Gr. 7 and 8.

Dreams don’t work unless you do!
