What is one thing you want students to know about you? 

Much like Johnny, I struggled on and off for years with various subjects in school. It was through years of work and the development of strategies that I learned to work with my strengths.  I also learned to control my learning disability/ADD. I am always eager to help figure out how to help you play to your strengths.
 What's your educational background?

I was in French immersion in Toronto's public system for most of my education but I did most of my high school education at SOLA (School of Liberal Arts). I went to Laurier for history before finishing my studies with an Honours Bachelor of Journalism from Humber Polytechnic.

Name your favourite TV show, movie, and song:

It's nearly impossible for me to list just one of each. My favourite TV shows include earlier seasons of the Simpsons, but my all time favourites include: MASH, Seinfeld, and of course Shoresy. Music is mostly classic rock but trends to classical and the electric blues. Let's go with If you want Blood by AC/DC. For movies, The Blues Brothers. 

What are some of your hobbies?

I am a big cinephile, I love reading, listening to music, skiing, bicycling, nerding out over craft beer, wristwatches and going vintage shopping. I am also deeply interested in cars. 

What was your favourite subject in high school?

I loved history and anything tied to it. I had a couple of outstanding teachers who really fuelled my passions for the humanities. 

What is something you would tell your younger self in high school?

Slow down, you aren't going to get anywhere by trying to rush through things.
